TACV Inauguration flight

Coming monday, July 4, the latest Boeing of TACV (Cape Verde Airlines) will be inaugurated on its flight from Sal to Boston, USA. Suzanna Lubrano will be present on the inauguration flight of ‘her’ Boeing. Since last year, Suzanna Lubrano is the godmother of this plane, which is named Emigrante. The inauguration flight will depart from Ilha do Sal in Cape Verde on monday morning July 4 and will return from Boston, USA, in the evening of July 5.

Suzanna Lubrano’s performance at the 3-day One World Music Festival in Durban, South Africa, will take place on July 15. The One World Festival will be held at Durban’s King’s Park Soccer Stadium. Amongst the other performing artists are Angie Stone, Regina Belle, Yolanda Adams, Ruben Studdard, Julian Marley, Najee and Cyrille Neville of the Neville Brothers. The event is made possible by the City of Durban and South African Airways.

In January, February and March 2006, Suzanna Lubrano will perform on some 30 stages in the Netherlands and Belgium together with Busi Mhlongo from South Africa and Yinka Adesina from Nigeria. The tour, which is promoted under the name The African Diva’s, is directed by Adelheid Roosen and Ruut Weissman, two famous show directors in the Netherlands. The band, specially selected for this tour, is lead by Alex Oele. There will be shows in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Groningen, Leeuwarden, Gent, Maastricht, Arnhem, Leiden and many more cities.
