Suzanna’s Saida album will be rolled out in a number of countries in the coming weeks. Currently, the album is widely available in Cape Verde, by the end of next week Saida will be released in the United States. Angola and Mozambique will follow shortly. In Senegal, Saida is available at Dakar’s Centre Commercial, Boutique 1006, as from this saturday.

In the Netherlands, for the the next two weeks the album is available in central Amsterdam at Most Wanted Latin Music, Haarlemmerdijk 180 and in Rotterdam at the three Cape Verdean music stores at the Nieuwe Binnenweg. In approximately two weeks from now, the album is expected to be widely available at the Media Markt, Free Record Shop and many other retailers in the Netherlands.

In other European countries, Saida is currently available at specialised African and Zouk music stores. Major distribution will follow within the next couple of months, worldwide digital distribution will follow within the next few weeks.

On February 29 and March 1 Suzanna will give two performances in Cabinda, north of Angola, the first shows in Angola since the release of the Saida album. Other shows are expected soon in Portugal (Lisbon, Porto, Algarve), Mozambique, Switzerland, United States and other places.

Tonight, February 22, Suzanna will be live at the evening show of FunX radio in the Netherlands. She will be talking about the new album between 8 and 9 PM while songs from the Saida album will be played.

There already have been a number of press reports since the release in the Netherlands of Suzanna’s SAIDA album. In the Netherlands, the popular urban FunX radio made a report of last thursday’s release party, the Metro newspaper in Holland publishes an interview with Suzanna, Suzanna did a couple of songs live in the studio at the regional Radio Rijnmond, MTNL Television will air a report of the release party at their urban Bru-Ja show, on Lijn5 online radio host Zarayda talks with Suzanna, Dutch daily Algemeen Dagblad published an article on the Saida release, and much more.

Elsewhere, there have already been some reports as well, from BBC World Service to New Style Radio in Birmingham, UK, from the pan-European Africa News (above) to Cape Verdean media in the US and much more.
