In April2009, Suzanna Lubrano’s fifth solo album will be released. It will be out in the United States first, followed by Europe and Africa.

The album will be predominantly a Latin Zouk album with R&B influences. Songs are recorded in Blue Jay Recording Studio in the United States and Rocktown Studio in the Netherlands.

For this album, Suzanna has worked together with Marcos Fernandez, Ronald Rubinel, Daps Lopes, Nellson Klasszik, Roger, Beto Dias, Hector Payan and the production duo Melvin “Jo Jo Beats” Sparkman & Marcus Allen, known as the Heavy Weights (producers of Ne-Yo’s hit single ‘Do You’).

The album already comes a year after the release, early 2008, of Suzanna’s fourth solo album, Saida.

Above is a picture of last night’s show in Theater Zuidplein in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It was Suzanna’s first official performance with her new Netherlands based band lead by Jeroen de Rijk.

As from next year, Suzanna plans to find a better balance between international performances and shows in her home country the Netherlands.

Until now, Suzanna only sporadically performed in the Netherlands. Last night was a great start to bring about chance in that.
