This week, Suzanna Lubrano will have 4 shows in Brazil, from thursday to sunday. The shows are scheduled as follows:
The song “Friends” from Suzanna Lubrano’s new “Festa Mascarado” album is a new entry in today’s Top 10 of RDP Africa. The song, which includes a rap of the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, has entered at no. 6.
Suzanna Lubrano and Ronald Rubinel have built a Zouk around a clean rap of Left Eye, while Suzanna added her own vocal melody and lyrics on Left Eye’s theme of friendship. The song has already received a lot of airplay in various countries, including the United Kingdom (BBC and others) and the United States.
Lisa Nicole Lopes, better known by her stage name Left Eye, was a Grammy Award-winning American rapper, singer-songwriter, teen idol, and member of the popular R&B group TLC. Many people were unaware that Left Eye’s father was of Cape Verdean descent.
“Friends†was created with support from the Lisa Lopes Foundation which is dedicated to providing neglected and abandoned youth with the resources necessary to increase their quality of life.

Suzanna Lubrano is very excited to present her new album Festa Mascarado in Brazil, while she plans to perform many of her classics from way back, such as Cado Momento, Fofo, Nha Sonho, Tudo Pa Bo and Reservan, to name but a few.
Suzanna Lubrano just returned from Cabo Verde, where she has done two live shows, many Radio and TV interviews and a press conference. Suzanna went back in Cabo Verde for live shows at the Programa de Verão da C. M. da Praia and the 20th edition of the Praia de Cruz Festival in Boavista, while she took the opportunity to present her new album Festa Mascarado, which is well received in Cabo Verde.
Apart from the title track Festa Mascarado, a club hit, the songs Quentura Tropical and Amor en Abundancia are among the most requested songs on Cape Verdean radio.
At the live events, the public responded with great enthousiasm to Suzanna’s performances with her new Netherlands based band. For large crowds, Suzanna performed both classics like Tudo Pa Bo, Fofo and Nha Sonho as well songs from her latest album, among them Festa Mascarado, I Care 4 You and Nunca Mas. Expresso das Ilhas calls the Praia show “a brilliant performance by Suzanna”.
This wednesday, August 12, Suzanna and her Netherlands based band will perform at the Programa de Verão da C. M. da Praia, Cabo Verde. Two days later, friday August 14, Suzanna will perform at the Festival da Praia de Cruz in Boavista. Suzanna Lubrano wil present her new album Festa Mascarado.
On saturday August 22, Suzanna will present the Festa Mascarado album with a performance in The Mass, Brixton, London, followed by three shows in Brazil early September: September 3 Sao Paulo, September 4 Rio de Janeiro, September 5 Belo Horizionte.
Saturday September 19, Suzanna Lubrano and her band will present Festa Mascarado at a beach event in La Vanade, at the Cote d’Ãzur in the south of France.
