Winner of the 2003 Kora All African Music Awards (African equivalent of the Grammy) for Best African Female Artist, in a live televized event watched by hundreds of million viewers in Africa and beyond.

Suzanna has various Gold and Platinum albums in the Lusophone market (Afro Portuguese market).

Suzanna has many number one hits in various charts across the globe, among them many African and pan-African charts, including “Friends” featuring Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes (TLC).The Zouk songs Tudo Pa Bo and Nha Sonho reached number one in the Netherlands and elsewhere in Europe at various Urban Charts.

At one point, the Top Ten Playlist on Angola radio contained five of Suzanna’s Zouk songs.

Suzanna’s performances at famous music festivals in Cape Verde, such as Gamboa and Baia das Gatas, were televized globally by RTP (Portuguese, live), TV5 Africa (French) and other TV channels.

Suzanna has appeared in major TV shows on mainstream TV networks in countries such as Angola, Cape Verde, Portugal, the Netherlands, South Africa and throughout the African continent and beyond. In 2010, her “Off-Corso” TV-show was televized by Brazil’s CNT network on a friday night at prime time. CNN reported her victory at Kora.

Throughout the years, Suzanna has completed a great many interviews on radio and tv in Europe, United States, Africa and South America.

Suzanna is the Godmother of the latest TACV Boeing (Cape Verde Arlines) and was honoured by the president and prime minister of Cape Verde, the mayor of Rotterdam (Netherlands) and others.

Suzana, I want to say again that I love you so much, you are so good singer and person. I want also to know when will you come again to perform here in Mozambique? your last perfom here was so amazing, and I want to see you again, me and all your fans, because you have so many fans here in mozambique. come again please. kiss for you and I like you so much

Suzanna… A sério, tu não existes. Para além de seres inteligente e teres um dom musical, és Cabo Verdeana, nasceste naquele pedaço de paraÃso no Oceano Atlântico e podeste despertar os teus sonhos em ares puros.
Adoro a tua música e espero que com o passar dos anos não percas essa tua essencia de viver.
